Ultimate Knockout Review For PS4, PC

If Fall Guys proves two things, it's that people will play anything and gamers are total dicks. Fall Guys doesn't have any complicated controls, and for the most part, gameplay comprises running and jumping. If so, you probably enjoy games that combine humor and whacky physics, and only give players enough control to broadly influence things. The quest for Crowns gives the game a high level of replayability.

There is a very good reason why Fall Guys has taken the world by storm already; it is absurdly, addictively brilliant fun. Each level is progressively more difficult, but despite the curve it all feels approachable, and even the most experienced players can get knocked down by complete newbs.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has a simple premise. As you play, you'll earn credits which you can use to buy more stuff, but you'll have to play a lot of games before you can unlock anything truly meaningful. A match of Fall Guys is quickly paced, you don't feel like it's that long.

A few games, especially some of the three-team games like the egg-hoarding one, reward beating up on the losing team, which is an unpleasant (though surefire) way to win. The best thing Fall Guys has going for it is that it's incredibly easy to play. Fall Guys is the perfect storm of ingredients delivered at the right time.

Balance Audio Fall Guys Rage Moments Levels: Set music and game sound effects separately. By my estimate, there are about twenty games available as of launch, which isn't a lot, and one can get tired of them quite quickly. Not all of the minigames are perfect, with the team games being a particular weak point, but there's enough fun to be had that such flaws are worth overlooking.

Then there's Slime Climb, which is notably more difficult than most and served as my nemesis for many of my early hours playing Fall Guys. Given their name, obviously only one of the four will be present in any one show, and only about 10 players will even see which final level is chosen, so variety at that point is basically meaningless.
